Tokimeki in Koenji, Tokyo

During my trip to Tokyo, I visited "Tokimeki" for dinner, a perfect spot to enjoy a meal between sightseeing adventures. The name "Tokimeki" (meaning "heartbeat" or "thrill") immediately catches your attention, especially since it’s not pronounced "Doki" as one might expect. The restaurant’s concept, "Eat and let your body naturally align itself," is truly intriguing! Located on the basement floor, it was a bit tricky to find, but the peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle made it worth the effort. The interior features a large open kitchen at the center, surrounded by a counter, with several table seats around it, creating a stylish and cozy ambiance.
