Denpoin was originally used by the Tokugawa shogun family as a dining hall for their meals, so in the past it was a secret garden that even feudal lords could not see, and it is still a garden that is usually closed to the public. This is a very tranquil place in a busy environment in Asakusa area in Tokyo. A wonderful place for a moment of contemplation or just cooling down from your hectic day. At least once a year.
