Naka-Meguro, Tokyo, February 2024 @KindanKajitsu, or Forbidden Fruit, is a stylish café serving up sandwiches that are nothing short of indulgent. I arrived just as they opened, and the grilled cheese was next-level, perfectly crisp, irresistibly gooey, and decadently rich. Topped with a fried egg, its golden-orange yolk glowing like the morning sun, it was the perfect way to start the day. Paired it with a long black from @Jollity_Coffee, a specialty roaster that’s new to me but one I’ll be keeping an eye on.

[Nakameguro] Stylish Hidden Bistro I went to "NYU", a stylish hidden bistro 🎵 It's a restaurant close to the station, but it has large windows and a balcony, so it has a sense of openness and is a very relaxing space even though it's in the city 🥰 The signature menu is thick-cut roast beef made from carefully selected Japanese beef 🥩, fig butter, melt-in-your-mouth chicken white liver, and three kinds of fresh fish carpaccio, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced, and I was very satisfied 🥰 The octopus in the carpaccio was smoked and had a taste like prosciutto, which was exquisite 🥳 There are also many wines and drinks, and it seems like a good place for dates and fun gatherings 🍷 It's a restaurant that I'll definitely be returning to ◎ Please be sure to go and check it out 🥰 📍Location: 2F Nakameguro Hillz, 1-3-20 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo #0 yen trip February 2025 #Nakameguro #Nakameguro Gourmet
