Back in 1900, this was the first time that a wedding was held in the presence of the gods at Tokyo Daijingu Shrine. Later, it became known as a shrine for praying for good relationships and making good friends. You can see young women queuing up to worship and draw lots in order to pray for a good match or a new love. Tokyo Daijingu Shrine is the Tokyo Remote Worship Hall of Ise Jingu, the most prestigious temple in Japan, where Amaterasu and Toyouke Omikami are enshrined. Three other gods who are in charge of the creation of heaven and earth are also worshipped here, so it is not surprising that people who hope to pray for various good relationships come to worship here. #ChristmasDestinations2024
