The shrine is surrounded by lush green trees, providing a comfortable shade along the approach path. Upon entering, you can see the exquisite Kara-mon gate and the bronze torii gate. The serene and ancient architecture complements the summer blue sky and dense green backdrop, making it a perfect spot for photography. 🌿 Summer Feature: Serene Green Environment In summer, Ueno Toshogu Shrine exudes a refreshing coolness. The approach path is lined with large trees that block the sunlight, making the walk very pleasant. The greenery adds vitality to the buildings, and the sunlight shining on the golden decorations and stone lanterns creates a natural and soft photographic effect. 💫 Avoid the Crowds, Feel the Tranquility On summer weekdays, the afternoons are not very crowded, allowing you to slowly appreciate every detail of the shrine. Walking past each stone lantern and small bridge feels like entering a world far from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can also write a small wish at the wishing area and experience the local blessing rituals. 🎟️ Tips The entrance fee is around 500 yen, which is very reasonable. It is recommended to bring some water and a hat.
