Usually when coming to #Toyosu Market, tourists’ first choice must be sushi, but the disadvantage is that they have to queue up early in the morning to get the number plate, otherwise they won’t be able to eat at all. This time, I gave up the famous sushi restaurant and chose #yamazakisushi, which was moved from Tsukiji Market. The advantage is that the queues are much smaller, but the deliciousness is still not compromised. #yamazakisushi Sushi Department やまざき, established for more than 90 years, is a spacious and bright store with a beautiful log counter and a variety of delicious seasonal ingredients sourced by experienced connoisseurs. In addition to a la carte, three nigiri sushi sets are also available: chrysanthemum, sakura, and Fuji, as well as special chirashi sushi. Toyosu Market also has special set menus: Special, and Chef’s Special. Of course, the host specially selected Omakase and ordered it directly! The set menu includes ten sushi rolls, rolls, tamagoyaki, as well as natural bluefin tuna and sea urchin, which is super rich. The advantage of sitting in front of the plate is that you can appreciate the chef's live craftsmanship and the interesting interaction of chatting with the guests. It is really recommended. The most memorable nigiri sushi of this meal was not the sea urchin, tuna bellies, or salmon roe hand rolls, but two wild conger eels, one grilled in white and one grilled in soy sauce. It melted instantly, it was the first time I tasted such a wonderful taste!
