The Gate Hotel Tokyo

This well priced hotel was located in the heart of the Ginza district. They provided a Luxurious experience from the moment you walk into the lobby and are greeted by the friendly staff. The rooms have outstanding views of the surrounding neighbourhood. The hotel lobby is comfortable, with huge glass windows to enjoy the surrounding sights and you have access to a terrace outside the lobby or on the 13th floor where you can sit and enjoy a drink. Rooms are small but very clean and cozy. As a tourist, you can't beat the location, especially for public transport connections. The only con is that the beautiful scenic balcony is not available with the standard hotel bar, but only the champagne bar. Hotel features a lovely restaurant, which serves exquisite breakfast each day, and the room was comfortable quiet and well appointed. What a great way to wrap up a long pleasant journey, but the one that left us tired and thankful to have the opportunity rest well at the gate hotel before our flight home.
