Running at the National Stadium 🏃‍♀️

The old National Stadium has produced many moving events, such as the main stadium for the 1964 Olympics, the Rugby Japan Championship, the All Japan Football Championship, the All Japan High School Football Championship, the World Athletics Championship, and the first J-League match venue in 1993, and has now closed its 56-year history. And now, the new National Stadium, which was completed on November 30, 2019. In 2021, it will be used as the main venue for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the opening and closing ceremonies and athletics events will be held there. Events are also held where the general public can run inside. One of these is the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon, which I also participated in last year. It is also called the half version of the Tokyo Marathon. Last year, it was a celebrity marathon with a 1,000 yen per kilometer calculation 🤣 This year, the participation fee has become the normal fee, but due to its popularity, a lottery will be held 🎯 The new stadium is as expected very beautiful and stylish, designed by Kengo Kuma. The distinctive chairs have a mysterious design that makes it look as if someone is sitting there even when there is no one there from a distance.
