Meiji Shrine

#tokyotrip Meiji Shrine is dedicated to the deified spirits of Emperor Meiji and his consort, Empress Shoken. The spacious Shrine grounds offer walking paths for a relaxing stroll. The main complex of the Shrine buildings is located from a 10 minute walk from both the southern entrance near Harajuku Station and the northern entrance near Yoyogi Station. The entry into the Shrine grounds is marked by a massive torii gate, then the sights and sounds of the busy city are replaced by a tranquil forest. Is a good form of walking exercise after meal. Remember to wear comfortable shoes as lots of walking is required. It is open daily from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free. #mytripvlog #tripblazers #japan
