[Tokyo] Mount Takao

I climbed Mt. Takao, a 599m mountain in Hachioji, Tokyo! Located near the center of Tokyo, it is visited by many tourists and climbers throughout the year, and has long been considered a sacred mountain for Shugendo. There are routes to the summit from Route 1 to Route 6, but this time I tried Route 6, which is famous for its waterfalls and rivers and its abundance of negative ions! There were several rivers on the way to the summit, which felt great to walk along! There were also places where you could cross on stepping stones, which stimulated my sense of adventure! There were no toilets on the way to the summit! Even in the hot summer, the power of nature kept me cool! I could feel both forest bathing and negative ions at the same time!
