Take the Meitetsu train from Centrair and get off at Tokoname Station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from there. Inside the park, there is a museum where you can learn about the history and how to make mentaiko, a food court where you can eat rice balls, rice bowls, pasta, pork buns, soft serve ice cream, and more, all made with freshly made mentaiko, and a mentaiko direct sales store, but what I always buy is the "Limited quantity mentaiko french bread" that goes on sale around 10-11am. To be honest, it's tastier than the bakeries around here!! ! At first, I didn't pay much attention to mentaiko because I thought it was rice, but one day a friend recommended it to me, so I bought it and was shocked! ! It's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and it's filled with a lot of produced mentaiko 💕 It's irresistible for mentaiko lovers! ! After eating a lot of local food on a trip, the first Japanese meal I had was mentaiko! ! I was so happy ✨ This time, I bought "Mentaiko French" and the limited-edition "Hokkaido raw cod roe rice ball" and was very satisfied. I couldn't finish all the mentaiko French, so I took some home and had it for lunch the next day.
