We visited Kiyotsukyo Gorge, the most photogenic spot in Niigata

Kiyotsukyo Gorge is a gorge located in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, and is counted among Japan's three major canyons. The other three are Kurobe Gorge (Toyama Prefecture) and Osugidani (Mie Prefecture). The magnificent columnar joints and emerald green clear stream that peek out from the long, long tunnel are soothing to the soul. At the end of the tunnel, you can look down into the canyon from Infinity Lake. This is the most Instagrammable spot in Niigata Prefecture, so be sure to take lots of satisfying photos!
