It comprises Zhucha Gorge, Jinsha Gorge, and Xianming Gorge. Zhucha Gorge is the longest of the three gorges in Tianzhu. The shady mountains are lush and verdant, with the sound of pine trees rustling in the wind, while the sunny mountains feature precipitous cliffs and breathtaking vistas. Jinsha Gorge is characterized by its uniquely shaped mountains, strange rocks, clear waters, and secluded valleys, with hundreds of acres of lush primeval forest. Xianming Gorge features towering peaks and verdant greenery. Here stands the Xianming Gorge inverted siphon, Asia's largest water diversion project, with a drop of 107 meters, stretching like a giant dragon between two high mountains. 03 Tiantang Temple, a thousand-year-old sacred site of Tibetan Buddhism Located in Tiantang Town in western Tianzhu County, it is named after Tiantang Temple, one of the five famous temples in northern China. Surrounded by mountains on its east, west, and north sides, it faces Jiading Town in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Qinghai Province, across the river, and is commonly known as "Little Jiangnan of Tianzhu." Tiantang Temple is a Gelugpa Tibetan Buddhist temple, originally built during the reign of Emperor Xianzong of Tang Dynasty, with a history of over 1000 years. At its peak, it housed over 1000 monks, earning it the nickname "Eight Hundred Monks of Tiantang." Inside the temple stands the tallest wooden seated Buddha statue of Master Tsongkhapa in Asia, solemn and sacred. 04 Benkang Danxia, ​​a geological wonder formed over millions of years "Brilliant as the morning glow, its color like cinnabar"—passing through Shimen Gully in Tianzhu County, crossing the Wutai Ridge at an altitude of over 3200 meters, and emerging from the Zhucha Gorge, one can see the ochre-red mountains—this is the renowned Benkang Danxia landform. Benkang means "the abode of ten thousand Buddhas" in Tibetan. These Danxia landforms were formed approximately 75 to 100 million years ago during the Cretaceous period, and what we see today is the Danxia landform in its prime. The scenic area is dominated by forests, complemented by grasslands, snow-capped mountains, and other natural landscapes.
