Hanyan Village, Tiantai, Zhejiang

Hanyan Village is located in Longxi Township, Tiantai County, Taizhou City, Zhejiang Province, about 30 km from the county seat. The village is named after the Tang Dynasty hermit poet Han Shanzi, who once lived in seclusion here. It is home to natural landscapes such as Hanyan Cave and a rich Han Shan culture. The village is made up of several natural villages and covers an area of about 3 square kilometers. Hanyan Village makes full use of its mountain resources to develop agricultural industries such as bayberry cultivation and has established a bayberry cooperative. In addition, Hanyan Village is a 3A-level tourist attraction, attracting many tourists with its beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage. On the morning of February 4, I walked 1 km from the Hou'an B&B where I was staying to the Hanyan Cave Scenic Area. Due to time constraints, I didn't enter the scenic area, but I took a stroll around Hanyan Village, feeling the poetry of Han Shan, the poet monk. There were few people in the secluded place, and as I wandered around the mountains and rivers, I felt a sense of peace.
