Guoqing Temple is located in Tiantai Mountain, Taizhou, Zhejiang, the origin of Tiantai Sect, and is a millennium ancient temple away from the hustle and bustle. As the ancestral home of China's Tiantai Sect, it not only carries a rich Buddhist history, but also shows a unique Zen atmosphere. The temple was built in the 18th year of Kaihuang in the Sui Dynasty (598 AD). Although it has been rebuilt and repaired, the temperament of the millennium ancient temple still comes to the face. The four characters of "Sui Dynasty Ancient Temple" on the big screen in front of the temple highlight the long history of Guoqing Temple. The words reveal the subtle connection between imperial power and Buddhism.
