Tiantai Mountain Grand Waterfall

The Tiantai Mountain Grand Waterfall Scenic Area is located on the western slope of Tongbai Mountain within Tiantai. The main waterfall has a total drop of 325 meters and a maximum width of 90 meters, making it a rare high-drop tiered waterfall group and the highest waterfall in China. The scenic area covers a total area of 11.31 square kilometers, including the Grand Waterfall area, Jiulong Lake area, Tongbai Palace area, and Qiongtai Fairy Valley area. These spots are connected by sightseeing elevators, suspension bridges, glass suspension bridges, and the Jinting Lake loop greenway, forming a large mountainous scenic area that integrates canyon landscapes, waterfall landscapes, suspended walkways, fashionable experiences, and Taoist culture. The mountain top tour route consists of a 2560-meter-long walkway and three sightseeing elevators with a vertical transport distance of up to 205 meters, connecting the Qiongtai Fairy Valley area and the Grand Waterfall area.
