Maijishan Grottoes, one of the four major grottoes in China

✅ Maijishan Grottoes are located in the Xiaolong Mountain forest, 28 km southeast of Maiji District, Tianshui City, Gansu Province. The mountain is named after its resemblance to a wheat stack. ✔️ Maijishan Grottoes were built during the Later Qin period of the Sixteen Kingdoms (384–417) and have been expanded and renovated over ten dynasties, including the Northern Wei, Western Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing.
