Panshan Scenic Area in Tianjin

Panshan Scenic Area in Tianjin is located 15 kilometers northwest of Jizhou District in Tianjin, covering an area of 106 square kilometers. It is also known as the 'First Mountain in the East of Beijing' because it is located to the east of Beijing. Panshan in Tianjin was formerly known as Wuzhong, Xu Wu, Sizheng, Panlong. It is said that at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the famous scholar Tian Chou of Wuzhong refused the emperor's reward and lived here, so people called it Tian Panshan, or simply Panshan.
