Nestled in the Himalayas between India and China, this tiny, remote kingdom has fiercely guarded its ancient traditions while gradually opening up to the outside world since the 1970s. Known to the Bhutanese as Druk Yul, or the "Land of the Thunder Dragon," Bhutan captivates with its serene landscapes and vibrant heritage. From exploring ancient dzongs to hiking through pristine valleys, every moment in Bhutan felt like stepping into a different era. The warm hospitality of the Bhutanese people made our experience even more memorable, leaving us enchanted by this unique and mystical kingdom.
