The Japanese restaurant and spa at the Maldives Le Méridien are both built over the sea - the experience is amazing!

The Maldives Le Méridien Resort is located in the northern Lhaviyani Atoll, about a 35-minute seaplane ride from Malé airport - the entire resort island covers an area of 9 hectares, with a large lagoon, absolutely beautiful! The vegetation on the island is also very lush, without the sparse vegetation problem common to new islands. Walking through the dense forest, you can reach the Explore SPA built over the sea, where I had an essential oil massage - so comfortable! Le Méridien's spa center is also built over the sea - with a glass floor, so you can see lots of fish while getting a massage. The hotel has a total of 6 restaurants and bars, offering a wide variety of dining options, as well as a kids' club, a marine biology center, and a spa, catering to all kinds of needs - especially the kids' club, which has a fantastic environment with various facilities, entertainment activities, and themed celebrations. I took a look around and really want to bring my niece and little nephew next time. As a new hotel - the dining quality at the Maldives Le Méridien Resort is very high! The ocean-view Japanese restaurant Tabemasu, which only serves dinner, has a beautiful setting facing the sea, and it is the only restaurant at Le Méridien that is not included in the all-inclusive package - but guests still get a 30% discount, which is quite a deal - In addition to various exquisite Japanese dishes, the restaurant also offers an Omakase special menu. We've eaten at all the restaurants at the Maldives Le Méridien several times - and the overall impression is that the food is not only delicious - but the portions are really too big, we couldn't finish it all, such a bargain!
