Going back to 1981, this area used to be mostly tea and teak forests until we received the great kindness of His Majesty King Rama IX who granted coffee seedlings and encouraged the villagers to grow coffee to help reduce deforestation, increase income for the community, and maintain the balance of nature for sustainability in the future. At Ban Pang Bong, almost 100% of the villagers grow coffee. They combine new coffee-making concepts with traditional wisdom to produce high-quality coffee while preserving the lush forest. Moreover, this place is not just coffee, but also a place of learning and relaxation in a unique way. We can come to experience a small, warm farmstay, learn the story of coffee in a special workshop from the people in the community who will tell every aspect of sustainable coffee cultivation and production. And don't miss a short hike to see the coffee trees growing in harmony with nature. On this trip, I got to try coffee, roast coffee, and plant a coffee tree with my name on it.
