Wat Marukhanakhon, Nakhon Phanom

Phra That Maruk Khanakhon is located at Wat Maruk Khanakhon, That Phanom District, approximately 40 kilometers from Nakhon Phanom Province. It looks like Phra That Phanom but smaller. The place is spacious and very shady. When walking inside, I felt very excited. Inside the chedi, there are golden Buddha images in various postures enshrined around the base of the chedi. It was built in 1993. The Maha That Chedi is 50.9 meters high and was built on the occasion of His Majesty the King's 50th anniversary of accession to the throne. It is the chedi for people born on Wednesday (night). There are many sacred and beautiful Buddha images to worship. Even descendants of the Naga lineage must come to worship. It is suitable for worshipping and asking for blessings for good fortune. Flowers, incense, candles, and small Bai Sri are provided by the temple.
