#100Ways to Visit Wat Phra That Phanom Woramahawihan is a first-class royal temple of the Woramahawihan type. The current abbot is Phra Thepwaramuni from 2006 - present. It is located on the bank of the Mekong River, Chayangkun Road, Ban That Phanom, Tambon That Phanom, Amphoe That Phanom, Nakhon Phanom Province. It is a square-shaped brick pagoda, 12.33 meters wide on each side, 53.6 meters high, with a four-layer wall surrounding the pagoda. The pagoda is located on Phu Kham Phra (a mound about 3 meters above the ground). In the area, there is a large lake called Bueng That Phanom. Every year, there is an annual festival to pay homage to Phra That Phanom.
