Pay homage to Phra That Phanom, the treasure of Nakhon Phanom

Phra That Phanom is truly a blessing and a great fortune to have paid homage once in my life. This chedi is the chedi for those born in the year of the Monkey. Phra That Phanom is a square-shaped pagoda made of bricks, 12.33 meters wide on each side and 53.6 meters high, with a four-tiered wall surrounding the chedi. The chedi is located on Phu Kham Phra (a mound of earth about 3 meters above the ground). Inside the area is a large pond called Bueng That Phanom. On the full moon day of the third lunar month to the first waning moon of the third lunar month of every year, there is an annual festival to pay homage to Phra That Phanom. #NakhonPhanom #PhraThatPhanom
