3-Day Yunnan Tengchong Itinerary｜Eternal Blue Sky and White Clouds

🕐️DAY 1: Tengchong Ginkgo Village - Volcano National Geopark - Dongguan Village Morning: Ginkgo Village Afternoon: Volcano Geopark, Dongguan Village Evening: Dinner - Qiaoxiang Zhai 🕐️DAY 2: Rehai Hot Sea - Western Yunnan War of Resistance Memorial Hall/National Cemetery - Beihai Wetland Park Morning: Rehai Hot Sea Afternoon: Western Yunnan War of Resistance Memorial Hall - Beihai Wetland Park Evening: Soak in the hot spring at Angsana Hot Spring Village + Dinner (a bowl of beef rice noodles) 🕐️DAY 3: Morning: Heshun Ancient Town Afternoon: Qiluo Ancient Town Evening: Dinner - Shang Bawei (Qiluo Ancient Town) 💗Other tips: 1️⃣ Transportation: Flights from Shanghai or other cities to Tengchong usually require a transfer, so you will spend 2 days on the road. In Tengchong, we recommend chartering a car, which costs CNY 300-500. We rented a 7-seater business car for 4 people, CNY 400/day, with no time limit. 2️⃣ Accommodation: We stayed in Tengchong downtown for 1 night and Heshun Ancient Town for 2 nights. In practice, staying in 2 places is not meaningful because they are close to each other. Most of the accommodations in Tengchong are homestays, with prices ranging from CNY 300-600/night. We recommend the "Zongbing Mansion" homestay in Heshun Ancient Town. It is an old house with a historical background and a good location in the alleys of Heshun. 3️⃣ Hot spring: We recommend Angsana Hot Spring Village under Banyan Tree, which is less crowded, clean, and well-equipped. We bought a package for CNY 190/person, including a bowl of authentic beef rice noodles. 4️⃣ Recommended route for Heshun Ancient Town Walk: Xiaozui's House (filming location of "My Regiment") - Zhongtian Temple - Thousand-Hand Guanyin Ancient Tree Group - Milong's House (filming location of "My Regiment") - Cun's Ancestral Hall - Wild Duck Lake - Li's Ancestral Hall - Dayuetai - Yuanlong Pavilion - Ai Siqi's Former Residence - Heshun Library - Wenchang Palace - Shuanghong Bridge.
