This time, I chose a villa homestay with a room area of 78m², two bedrooms and one living room, a 1.8m bed, and a 1.5m bed, which can accommodate four people, perfect for a family trip. Small suggestions: If you come in July or August, be prepared with a jacket and umbrella, as summer is the rainy season in Tengchong, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is quite large, so keep warm. Fortunately, there are free hot spring foot baths in the community, where you can take a walk after meals and soak your feet to remove dampness and cold, giving your body a deep relaxation and better sleep at night. Another summer benefit is that you can follow local uncles and aunts to pick wild mushrooms in the mountains, but be careful not to pick them yourself, as you might pick poisonous mushrooms. It is said that Mayugu is the only town in Tengchong with the right to exploit hot springs, and the hot springs here have won the Golden Soup Award for fluorine-containing metasilicic acid hot springs. The hot spring water is drinkable and its quality is comparable to Evian in France. The homestay is small but exquisite, and the room decoration shows great care. Pets are also allowed, which is a great benefit for pet lovers! We stayed on the third floor of the homestay, which was really healing. In the morning, you can hear the gentle sound of cowbells outside the window, and if you're lucky, you might see egrets strolling leisurely in the fields. The green mountains and rice fields make you feel incredibly cheerful, and in the evening, the balcony is bathed in a layer of golden light, with a stunning sunset in the distant mountains and clouds. In July, the town's pink muhly grass covers a terraced field, with a vintage tractor parked nearby for tourists to take photos. The community also has a pet park, bamboo paths, and other places convenient for walking dogs. If you want to stay for one or two months, it is also very convenient. The room is equipped with kitchen utensils, and you can buy various fresh vegetables and fruits in the surrounding villages within a kilometer.
