Heshun Ancient Town is located in the southwestern part of Tengchong City, Yunnan Province. It is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Yunnan, where the culture of the hometown of overseas Chinese and the culture of the caravan blend together, making Heshun one of the four typical ecological and cultural villages in Yunnan Province. On October 23, 2006, the Heshun scenic area was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. In 2024, the Heshun Ancient Town scenic area became a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction. There is a newly renovated mosque in Heshun Ancient Town. The residents of Heshun are mainly Han Chinese, with the Hui minority being small in number and scattered in residence. The mosque is the only place for the collective activities of the Hui people. The cover of this notebook features the Shuanghong Bridge, the old bridge was originally built in the early years of the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. It is said to have been built by the efforts of the local deity Inch Jade. It was rebuilt in the tenth year of the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. The new Shuanghong Bridge was built in 1921. The two bridges resemble double rainbows lying on the waves, hence the name Shuanghong Bridge. The bridges are exquisitely crafted, with green willows by the bridge, red lotuses reflecting the sun, ducks and geese playing in the water, and fish swimming in the shallow bottom, presenting a peaceful and beautiful scenery reminiscent of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River. The alleys of Heshun Ancient Town have a rich cultural heritage, and the restaurants in the town mostly serve hot pot. The central primary school of Heshun Ancient Town is located in the Shizi Road community of Heshun Ancient Town. It was founded in 1908 during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. After nearly a hundred years of running the school in the ancestral hall, it was not until August 2000 that the school moved into the new campus of the central school today, with the school motto being 'Education as the foundation, and striving for success as the goal'.
