Tengchong Beihai Wetland - Spring blossoms even in winter

Tengchong Beihai Wetland is located in Beihai Village, Tengchong City, Yunnan Province, and is the only volcanic barrier lake wetland protection area in China. Now it's winter, you can see the grass sea, lakes, winter cherry blossoms, and a large number of wintering migratory birds. The star is the purple water chicken, with blue-purple feathers, living in the reeds, feeding on insects, mollusks, small fish and shrimp. Of course, it is also common in wetlands all over Yunnan. I see a lot of tour groups here, and there are quite a few tour buses. Individuals are advised to go early, it's quiet and comfortable in the morning. Waiting for many tourists at noon and afternoon, the experience may not be so good. It takes half an hour from Tengchong city, and it costs more than forty yuan by taxi, which is quite convenient. Take a small boat to the heart of the lake to sunbathe, then walk back to the exit along the plank road corridor. Along the way, you can see the migratory birds resting on the lake, take pictures on the island in the heart of the lake, have a coffee or something, walk back to the entrance and exit along the plank road, there are various food shops inside (I didn't try it so I won't recommend it). Along the way, you can enjoy the flowers and take pictures of flowers and birds. The core area of the reserve is not open to tourists, so if you don't take pictures of birds, a normal tour of two or three hours is already enough. If you have plenty of time, you can also experience water entertainment projects, such as grass sliding, small boats, etc. The ferry to the island in the heart of the lake is 50 one way, although it is a bit expensive, but it is also recommended to take one, you can take close-up shots of ducks and so on
