[Mexico🇲🇽] Experience the Mayan ruins at Ek Balam!

Climbing the pyramids of Chichen Itza is prohibited, but you can climb Ek Balam. (Visited and climbed in February 2025) *Please check the latest information. You can also climb the ruins in the back right of the first photo, but the stairs are very steep and there are no handrails in some places, so you need to wear comfortable shoes and climb carefully. From the top, you can see a spectacular view of how surrounded the ruins are by trees. 🌄 You can also feel nature, such as thorny trees, iguanas, and birds. Explanations about each ruin are written in English. The ruins themselves are not as large as Chichen Itza, but there is nothing to block the sun, so it is a good idea to wear a hat and drink water frequently. There are restrooms near the ticket office and a souvenir shop in the area just inside the entrance. #0 yen travel
