The horse riding teacher provided by Xueshan Ranch is a very professional Kazakh teacher who can speak Chinese. After the 3-hour course on the first day, I was able to basically master the skills of getting on and off the horse, holding the reins, and controlling the direction. I thought it would be difficult, but under the careful guidance of the Kazakh teacher, I learned unexpectedly fast, which makes me look forward to the days to come. The next day, we rode our horses and embarked on the first section of the Wusun Ancient Road. The scenery along the way was magnificent, and we even went into a herdsman’s home to taste fresh goat milk - the taste was special and unforgettable. That day I rode a horse on the vast grassland for the first time. The wind whistled past my ears and the embrace of nature was intoxicating. Although my knees were sore from the seven-hour ride, the sense of freedom and the experience were definitely worth it. The third day's itinerary was more like an adventure: starting from the morning on horseback, going up the mountain, step by step from summer to winter. We walked into the heart of the snow-capped mountains, made snowmen and had snowball fights, we were like little kids. After climbing up the rocky cliffs, we finally arrived at the frozen mountain lake. It is really admirable that the local herdsmen can reach the summit in just a few steps. That day, we rode down the mountain and just caught the summer sunset around ten o'clock. The afterglow of the setting sun illuminated the entire valley, which was breathtakingly beautiful. On the fourth day, we were able to ride horses alone and travel through the grassland. On the way, we met a group of herdsmen who were herding sheep. When they saw that the two of us girls could ride horses independently, they laughed and said we were amazing and invited us to help herd the sheep.
