Mabul Island is a small island located on the southeast coast of Semporna District, Tawau Province, Sabah, Malaysia, between the Philippines and Borneo Island. In addition to the water houses surrounded by flowers, the mysterious Bajau people also live in the sea. The Bajau people live on the sea all year round and are called sea gypsies. It is said that they can dive into the deep sea of ​​20 to 30 meters to fish without any equipment. The only means of transportation is a handmade wooden boat, continuing the lifestyle of their ancestors hundreds of years ago. They have no nationality, rarely go ashore, and spend their entire lives drifting on the sea. When I heard someone next to me say that they were so pitiful, I actually felt that they were happy and free. Perhaps it was because they had not had much contact with the outside world. Their faces were full of simplicity and innocence, and they truly achieved symbiosis between man and nature.
