Susaki Shrine

#DomesticTravelRecord Susaki Shrine, the Ichinomiya of Awa Province, is a shrine associated with Minamoto no Yoritomo. The shrine is located at the top of the long staircase beyond the Zuishinmon Gate. First, worship at the first torii gate, also known as Hama no Torii. The long staircase, with nearly 150 steps, is called Yakuharazaka. The approach to the shrine, with a view of the ocean in the distance, is quite a spectacular view. Susaki Shrine is known for its blessings on maritime safety, love, and marital harmony, but when Minamoto no Yoritomo fled to the Awa region after losing the Battle of Ishibashiyama, he visited Susaki Shrine and prayed for the revival of the Genji clan, and his wish was granted, so it is known as a power spot that has blessings on "revival."
