I said "So beautiful" at least 100 times every day! ⚠️ Drink less water; Xinjiang is beautiful everywhere, but the toilets can be a headache. 【A classic must-do: Kashgar - Tashkurgan three-day tour】 DAY1️⃣ Depart from Kashgar city 📍North shore of Basha Lake (super beautiful, free, but farther from Basha, with a higher vantage point) 📍Karakul Lake (ticket 45 RMB, the water is greener, snow-capped mountains in the distance, ice on the shore, be careful when approaching) 📍Taheman Wetland Observation Deck (stop for photos, 5 minutes is enough) Finally, stay at a hotel in Tashkurgan County. Dinner at Shanwei Pakistani Restaurant; the chickpeas were okay, but the yak meat was tasteless and not good. DAY2️⃣ 📍Panlong Ancient Trail (navigate directly to Longji Mountain Observation Deck for photos; the plank road is a bit scary. No need to stop elsewhere, scenery is similar) 📍Bandier Blue Lake has a parking lot; you can walk the boardwalk to a higher observation deck. The altitude is high and requires some stamina, but the view is better) 📍Eye of Pamir (uh... can be skipped) 📍Togrenxia Village at sunrise, you can see the golden sunlight on the mountains, or go one hour before sunset. Before entering the village, cross a pink bridge and walk down to the grassland, which is even more beautiful at sunset) Dinner at Hongza Kitchen, cheap and delicious, very crowded, recommend going early. DAY3️⃣ Depart from Tashkurgan County 📍Mujixiang Volcano, passing the north shore of Basha Lake and driving 60 km further, you can see golden grasslands and blue lakes, incredibly beautiful! But the speed limit of 40 km/h in the area is annoying. You can see the Eighteen Arhats Peaks without entering the scenic area. Ticket is 40 RMB; horseback riding to cross the river to see volcanoes and was finally bargained down to 110 RMB. Without aerial photography, the volcanic craters are not very noticeable, but riding horses in such beautiful scenery is really enjoyable!) Finally, return to Kashgar at 9 PM.
