Top Spots to Visit Taoyuan: - Daxi Old Street (No. 112, Heping Rd, Daxi District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, 8am–6pm): Cobbled lanes lined with baroque façades and snack stalls. Try the peanut mochi! - Shimen Reservoir (No. 1, Section 1, Dazhu Road, Longtan District, Taoyuan City): Tranquil lake views and perfect for a cycling break. - Window on China Theme Park (No. 891, Section 1, Huanhu Road, Longtan District, Taoyuan City, 9am–5pm): Quirky miniature landmarks—great for families or playful adulting! Qujing: - Jiulong Waterfalls (Xiong’er Town, Luoping County, Qujing): Epic 10-tiered falls with stunning photo ops—bring comfy shoes for a short hike. - Luoping Canola Flower Fields (Luoping County, Qujing, best in February–March): Jaw-dropping golden sea of blooms. Insta-worthy and totally worth timing your visit! - Qilin Park (Qilin District, Qujing, 6am–10pm): Classic Chinese landscaping and a relaxed vibe for evening strolls. Foodie Tip 🍜: Taiwan’s food is out-of-this-world! Don’t skip soup dumplings, bubble milk tea, and classic street snacks in Taoyuan’s markets. In Qujing, local Yunnan noodles are a must. Getting Around: Public buses link most major attractions, but taxis or local ride apps are hassle-free for longer day trips. Travel Hacks: Carry some cash, especially for street vendors.
