My stay at the Westin Tashee Resort, Taoyuan, was a relaxing yet lively vacation experience. The hotel's overall atmosphere was truly resort-like, and the rooms were elegantly decorated and comfortable. The relaxing atmosphere was palpable the moment you entered. The Westin beds were incredibly comfortable—not too soft or too firm—and I slept soundly all night. The staff were friendly and professional, and their attentiveness and hospitality were evident both in the restaurant and at the counter. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a wide selection that left a very satisfying meal. The outdoor pool was beautiful and perfect for photos, but smaller than expected and a bit crowded due to the crowds. However, the indoor pool was fantastic and spacious, allowing for a refreshing swim even when the weather was too hot. The outdoor amenities were a real plus, with slides, giant chess sets, basketball shooting, miniature golf, and more, perfect for families or friends to enjoy together, offering a wide variety of activities. There's also a happy hour in the evening, perfect for relaxing with a drink. There are a few minor drawbacks: On check-in day, the hotel was packed, and both check-in and check-out took over 30 minutes to queue. The waiting area was noticeably short on chairs, making it a bit tiring for my family. The arcade game room is too small, and when it's crowded, the lines are long. Although the room key is a watch-style card, you still need to get your original card holder to enter the game room, which is a bit lacking in design. Breakfast is also available at certain times, which doesn't offer much flexibility for vacationers. Overall, it was a pleasant vacation experience, perfect for relaxation and fun.
