A Japanese corner that travels through time [Momozono Shrine]⛩️

I didn't expect to find such a quiet Japanese shrine space in the bustling Taoyuan city. Taoyuan Shrine, built in 1937, is one of the few well-preserved Japanese shrines in Taiwan. Today, it has been renamed Taoyuan Martyrs' Shrine, but it still retains the original structures such as the torii, the temple, and the approach to the temple, full of the strong Showa style. Walking on the stone steps, passing the torii and the stone lanterns, you will have the illusion of walking into a Japanese countryside shrine. The main building adopts a traditional wooden roof and lattice windows. The atmosphere is quiet, and you can occasionally meet tourists who come to take wedding dresses or kimono photos.
