bale jukung on Lombok main island

This homestay/ farm stay is a really nice place. Very close to nature and eco friendly. There are lots of plants and fruits growing in the property. many cats and the owner actually has an eagle visiting daily. The Room: Bale Jukung has 2 room options. 1) fan room: this is an old style island kinda room. just enough space for two mattresses and your luggage. the price fore this was about 175IDR per night. 2) wooden bungalow: AC, TV, shower and private bathroom, lots of space and really nicely decorated. the price for this was around 350IDR per night. The second Option is definitely worth the extra ~$ 7. going around: I’d really recommend a scooter for getting there. it’s not hard to find but once you’re there you should be flexible in getting around. the owner took us on a trip with his family to visit a river nearby to go for a swim and invited us to a bbq in the evening. all in all really enjoyed the stay here. very nice people and welcoming atmosphere. the homestay is good and we can definitely recommend going here. #homestay #farmstay #nature
