Check in at Tangshan Peirenli & Qixin 1889

Two places in Tangshan where you can take photos and check in. Both places have check-in spots with the word "Tangshan." They are located at P6 and P7. Both places are small and easy to find. (Later, I found that Hetou Old Street actually has several photo spots as well. If you are just here for check-ins, there is also a plan to visit Hetou Old Street. Personally, I feel you might not need to come to these two places; a quick photo session at the old street is enough.) These two places are not far from each other, about 2 kilometers apart. The bus ride is only one stop. Considering the distance to the bus stop and from the stop to the attractions, taking the bus feels unnecessary. If you really don’t want to walk, you can consider shared electric scooters. We walked from Peirenli to 1889. Here’s the difference between the two places: Peirenli: Next to a residential community, it has dining, coffee shops, hotels, and many photo spots (P7-P11). I didn’t even take photos at some spots. It’s a relatively modern place. Qixin 1889: An abandoned old cement factory. If interested, you can learn about the history of the cement factory here. There are many shops inside, but most were closed. There is a bakery operating at the innermost part; we didn’t go in, but it looked nice from outside. Many locals were sunbathing, playing chess, and dancing inside. Photos are at P1-P7. PS: (If you plan to take photos, prepare in advance by wearing nice clothes suitable for photos. I saw many girls wearing beautiful outfits and taking great pictures, some even took off their thick coats for the photos. Since I’m more sensitive to cold and have to walk a lot, I usually prioritize comfort when going out, so many outfits didn’t quite match.)
