Great ambiance, fast service, light flavors. Must-tries: tofu wraps, sliced conch, sweet & sour pork with pineapple, and yellow croaker fried rice! 🎣What to Do 1️⃣Hetou Old Street - Tangshan's version of "Great Tang Never Sleeps City", stunning night views. Free admission in late November - crowded but worth it! Tried chess-piece pancakes and Tang Xiaobao yogurt (kids loved it!) 2️⃣Tangshan Earthquake Memorial Park + Museum Free, no reservation needed. Outdoor memorial wall with victims' names and quake ruins - remaining machine workshop structures and twisted rails are profoundly moving! Museum showcases earthquake history and Tangshan's reconstruction. What a heroic city! 3️⃣Shadow Puppet Theme Park (Must for kids!) Free, requires reservation. Numerous children's play facilities. Kids rode the Dragon Train, shadow puppet carousel, operated mini excavators, and laughed at funhouse mirrors - didn't want to leave! 4️⃣Nanhu Park. Free admission Vast lake area formed from post-quake subsidence, shimmering waters with panoramic views. International Garden section is most photogenic📷 - especially Hungary and Italy gardens. Tangshan - a heroic city rich in shadow puppetry, Pingju opera, and Leting drum culture, embodying modern industrial history.
