Tangshan - Hetou Old Street

Come to Tangshan Hetou Old Street, a national tourist and leisure district. The first thing I saw was the "Light of Tangshan" Ferris wheel, a hot spot for check-in. The wheel body is covered with screens and can show various expressions such as blinking, smiling, and funny. It is called the "cutest" Ferris wheel. The predecessor of Hetou Old Street was a man-made waterway for coal transportation connecting Tangshan and Tianjin. It was known as the "Coal River" in history and was later called the Tangjin Canal. On the 1,000-meter canal, 78 giant lampposts with the word "Tang" in Chinese characters are shining brightly. The fiery red Tang-style lanterns stretch on both sides of the canal. The slowly moving flower boat with the theme of the Eastern Expedition of Emperor Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty has loud drums, and the beauties of the Tang Dynasty have traveled through time. Dancing gracefully in the pavilions built on the water, looking up you can see a woman flying in the air scattering petals all over the sky... There are also folk performances such as shadow puppetry, Laoting drums, and Pingju opera in casual places in the streets. More than 200 performances at more than 70 locations... I can’t finish watching it at all… The public welfare station provides free ginger-date tea and pear soup, which warms the body and mind in the cold winter. The street opens at 14:00 in the afternoon and closes at 22:00 in the evening. Tickets are 58 yuan from Monday to Friday, 78 yuan on weekends, and are free in November this year.
