Amanwella is hidden in the golden beach with swaying coconut trees

Amanwella is located in a bay on the south coast of Sri Lanka, close to the seaside town of Tangalle. It is surrounded by coconut trees and has a wide golden beach. The hotel has two types of suites: Hill Pool Suite and Ocean Pool Suite. Each suite has a plunge pool, a private terrace, and a pool. Amanwella was designed by the master architect Kerry Hill. The hotel is simple and natural, with wooden furniture and a pool in each room. It is close to nature and suitable for meditation. There are 30 suites, each with an area of at least 100 square meters. Each suite has a private courtyard with a plunge pool and a spacious terrace for relaxation and dining. The outdoor living space is natural. The floor-to-ceiling doors on both sides allow the sea breeze to flow freely, and you can sleep with the swaying coconut trees. In addition, each suite has a spacious bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, double vanity, and dressing room. The hotel has three restaurants and a bar. The restaurants mainly serve authentic local cuisine, as well as classic Asian and Mediterranean dishes. They offer fresh seafood caught on the day, which is delivered directly by local fishing boats.
