#traveldiaries A step back in time .....with seemingly endless alleyways....stairs... shrines. Hidden little coffee & tea shops ...ancient temples... I think more quaint and somewhat more enjoyable than Kyoto..which can seem overwhelming. Go and lose yourself in the myriad of walkways and paths... Very nice place you must visit too if you are here in Japan.
