simple small moments

I stayed in Tampa, Florida for a few weeks to get away from my busy life in Japan. When I first arrived there, the airport was quiet and not many people were around. That was the first moment I felt relieved in a while. I went to many restaurants and ate all kinds of foods that I usually wouldn’t be able to find back at home. An observation I made was the restaurants had interesting designs compared to the ones in Japan. They had fish tanks full of exotic fishes all around the place, the lights looked like tentacles of an octopus. I haven’t been to the US in nearly 12 years. While so much has changed, I was able to relive my childhood. It was a healing experience. #florida
