Hyogo/Tanba - Grab some sweet trout and enjoy the sweet trout feast

I went to Tamba City the other day. I tried catching amago trout at Amago Village! It is held from May to October when the water is lukewarm. I tried to sneak up on them because they hide under rocks, but they are so fast! Unfortunately, I couldn't catch any. 💦 However, my sister (a hunter) who went with me caught a lot. The trick is to grab them gently with both hands from the front. Besides catching them, there is also rainbow trout fishing that even beginners can enjoy, so it can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. After trying our best to catch amago trout at Amago Village, we had a lunch full of amago trout. Nanbanzuke, kanroni, sashimi, salt-grilled, fried, kamameshi, and more. There was so much amago that I wondered how you can use amago trout in cooking! And it was all so delicious. ✨ Personally, the kamameshi is the best!
