Exploring the Hidden Gem of Yutsun Waterfall on Iriomote Island, Okinawa!

Iriomote Island, part of the Yaeyama Islands in Okinawa Prefecture, is home to mangroves, stunning waterfalls, and beautiful seas, and has been recognized as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. On this breathtaking island, I embarked on a trek to Yutsun Waterfall! The journey involves about a two-hour trek through the jungle one way. To reach the waterfall, you navigate rocky paths and streams, climbing higher and higher. As you progress, the scenery becomes increasingly beautiful, and upon arrival, you are greeted by the magnificent three-tiered Yutsun Waterfall. Enjoying a packed lunch at the summit is simply the best! The negative ions from the waterfall provide a soothing experience. This adventure offers an extraordinary escape from everyday life.
