Eizan Electric Railway: My Journey on the "Train to the Green Forest"! 🌳🚃

#summervacay The Eizan Electric Railway was actually what first drew me to Kyoto, and it truly turned out to be the most anticipated part of my entire trip! After exploring Sanzen-in Temple, I took a taxi directly to Kurama Station and boarded the Eizan Electric Railway for Kibuneguchi. Still wanting more, I rode one more stop forward. That's where the most beautiful section of the line passed by; it truly felt like the train was driving right into the heart of a forest – absolutely stunning! Unfortunately, I went a bit late in the day, and the weather wasn't ideal, with hardly any sun left. However, the temperature was perfectly comfortable, and a cool breeze made it wonderfully refreshing. I finally arrived in Kibune around 5 PM, and the lights were already on. Kibune isn't very large, but spending 200 JPY to try the water fortune-telling was really interesting! You place the paper fortune in the water, and after a moment, the characters magically appear.
