Takasaki 🇯🇵 White-robed Guanyin

The Takasaki White-robed Great Kannon of Jigen-in Temple is a landmark of Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. The statue is pure white, sacred and solemn, with a peaceful expression. Since it was built in 1936, it has been protecting the local people for many years. The White-robed Guanyin is 41.8 meters tall and weighs about 6,000 tons. It has a nine-story structure and houses 20 Buddha statues.
