[Toyama Prefecture] Iwasakinohana Lighthouse: A hidden gem of a lighthouse offering a panoramic view of Toyama Bay

Iwasaki-no-hana Lighthouse stands on a mountain about 1.5 km south of Amaharashi Roadside Station in Toyama Prefecture. It is an active lighthouse that was completed in 1951. In April, the cherry blossoms planted around the lighthouse are in full bloom, making it a popular cherry blossom spot known only to those in the know. It is also a participant of the "Love Lighthouse Project," and is known as a romantic date spot. To the east, you can see Fushiki Port with the Tateyama mountain range in the background. There were no benches or rest areas to be found on the top of the mountain where the lighthouse is located, but I wondered if there was a lighthouse keeper? There were people relaxing while sitting on the stone wall near the house. There is parking space for 2-3 cars, but the road to the lighthouse is narrow and oncoming vehicles cannot pass each other, so driving is required.
