The passageway depicts gatekeepers, guards of honor, and a cavalry procession. The tomb chamber murals are divided into four layers. The top layer of the dome depicts celestial bodies, including the Milky Way, the sun, and the moon. The second and third layers depict the Four Gods and the Twelve Hours, respectively. The bottom layer is the main picture. The north wall depicts the tomb owner and his wife at a banquet, with musicians and attendants on either side. The east and west walls depict processions centered around saddled horses and ox carts, respectively. Beyond the main pictures, cavalry processions are depicted in the middle and far distance. The south wall depicts drum and wind instrument players on both sides of the doorway. The Shuiquanliang Northern Qi Dynasty murals tomb is relatively well-preserved overall, vividly recreating the social and historical landscape of the Northern Qi Dynasty. Based on the tomb's structure, burial objects, and mural content, it is estimated that the tomb dates back to the late Northern Qi Dynasty, and the tomb owner was likely a military and political official stationed in Shuozhou. 📌Tips: Free parking lot available
