Shanxi·Taiyuan|Checked in at Beilin Park Beilin Park, also known as Fus Mountain Stele Forest, is located on the east bank of the Fen River in Taiyuan, stretching from Kang Le Street to the north and to Shuangta West Street to the west. The layout consists of two parts: the south and the north gardens. The north garden is the 'Fus Mountain Stele Forest', and the south garden is the 'Sanjin Stele Forest', integrating cultural leisure to promote the culture of Sanjin, excavate the calligraphy art of Fus Mountain, and feature the collection and exhibition of fine calligraphy works from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The north garden—Fus Mountain Stele Forest—emphasizes the symmetrical courtyard style of classical Chinese garden landscaping, with Mr. Fus Mountain himself as the master. The south garden—Sanjin Stele Forest—is based on a natural style of garden landscaping, with green pines and bamboo, lush grass, fragrant fruits, and blooming flowers, reflecting the simple and natural scenery everywhere. Beilin Park is quaint and elegant, and among the many stele forests in China, it stands out with a unique charm. The architectural styles of the south and north gardens blend seamlessly. Looking at both gardens, with corridors surrounding, pavilions responding to each other, halls and pavilions intersecting, the scenery of the Ming and Qing gardens is recreated, truly spectacular, earning it the reputation of a small botanical garden in the north.
